I have seen a lot of people on this board write Xmas instead of Christmas. Just wondering what the point is behind it. Seems funny that people don't want to take the extra 2 seconds to write Christ. It is the name of the holiday.

I personally take all "Christ" out of my Xmas. Santa is the reason for the season!

lol, good reason. And if the name of the holiday was Santamas, then your explanation would make sense. |

It seems more like a shorthand thing rather than a non-Christian thing. Hell, it practically shoves the cross right in your face. |

Whoops, someone beat me to it. Oh well, this thread could use a bump from an additional post. |
