I read recently that there is a shop behind Angguk Station that makes and sells egg tarts from Macau.

I LOVE EGG TARTS - a la chinoise / Hong Kong style.

Does anyone know precisely where it is?

There's a place in HongDae. Walk up toward the main gate and take a right at the Starbucks. Go up a bit and it's in there somewhere.

Can't beat the ones in HK, though. That place in central rocks.

Will be there round mid February on the way back from the beach. Always look forward to a few days in HK. Weather is great this time of the year, too. The better half shops, I have a stogie and a pint.

The place I had them in Hongdae was a little cafe in an alley that runs behind Tin Pan. It's perpendicular to the alley where Club Cargo is. Sorry, don't remember the name, but they were pretty tasty.

Lotteria used to sell them, for a couple of years.
I haven't eaten there for 5 years, so maybe they don't anymore.

Try to find the one behind TinPan as the other poster suggested. That one does decent business.

It's on the ground floor and has a small patio (which might be shut for winter). It's across from the big (used to be Italian) restaurant with the large terrace out front.
