I read recently that there is a shop behind Angguk Station that makes and sells egg tarts from Macau.
I LOVE EGG TARTS - a la chinoise / Hong Kong style.
Does anyone know precisely where it is? |

There's a place in HongDae. Walk up toward the main gate and take a right at the Starbucks. Go up a bit and it's in there somewhere.
Can't beat the ones in HK, though. That place in central rocks. |

Will be there round mid February on the way back from the beach. Always look forward to a few days in HK. Weather is great this time of the year, too. The better half shops, I have a stogie and a pint. |

The place I had them in Hongdae was a little cafe in an alley that runs behind Tin Pan. It's perpendicular to the alley where Club Cargo is. Sorry, don't remember the name, but they were pretty tasty. |

Lotteria used to sell them, for a couple of years.
I haven't eaten there for 5 years, so maybe they don't anymore. |

Try to find the one behind TinPan as the other poster suggested. That one does decent business. |

It's on the ground floor and has a small patio (which might be shut for winter). It's across from the big (used to be Italian) restaurant with the large terrace out front. |

A couple of department store food halls sell them - Sinchon Hyundai Dept Store and Shinsegae at Express Bus Terminal (both in B1 level). |
