Great topic I know. But I just had my renewal medical and they asked for a stool sample, for parasites. Granted, I probably do have parasites from the amount of raw fish this country eats but I flatly refused to do it as it's unnecessary for the visa. They were pretty adamant but eventually they gave up.
Has anyone else come across this? What gives? |

I've read about it on here. It's not part of immigration's requirements, it's just random hospitals' basic procedure.
Good on you for treating a hospital fairly and like the business it is. You wouldn't buy a watermelon from Lotte Mart just because they demanded it, would you? |

| It's bad enough having to give blood and urine samples, but giving a stool sample would just be... shitty! |

| Yeah, ever since I gave them the stool sample, the darned thing tilts to the right whenever I sit on it. |

why not take it to your embassy and ask them?
might get their attention at what we're putting up with 
actually maybe ALL of us NETs should do that!!
