I'd like to show my kids some American movies with korean subtitles. Looked on some torrent sites but no luck. Any suggestions?

Go to http://cineast.co.kr/

At the top there are a bunch of menu options. Click on the 5th one 자료실.

From the drop down menu, select the first option. 자막자료실.

Then just type your movie name into the box. Make sure the movie title says한글 (Korean) above it. Often there are lots of choices, so try and find the titles that best fit your movie.

Sometimes the Korean title is different to the Western title and it's better to search in Korean. To do this go to google.co.kr and click on search Korean sites only. Type in the title in English and the Korean title should come up in the search results, copy and paste into cineast search box.

My uncle uses Gom player and it seems to automatically get subs in Korean for whatever movie he's watching.

Assuming you're using the Korean version of Gomplayer, while viewing a file just click on the 자막도우미 button on the bottom of the screen. Select the middle of the 5 options "자막찾기" and it should bring up an browser page with subtitle files for the movie. Click on the file, select download, save it to your desktop, then just drag the file onto the gomplayer screen.

This works for most popular movies available for download on the net, but some may take a little more searching.

Hah, that's funny. I was looking last night for the same thing, after I had (unfortunately) promised my class we would be watching it. Uh... my bad.

Wait a week or two and it should be up, but there are no subs for it yet.

It'll sync specifically with the file named on the page I gave. If you dont have that version you might have to resync it.
