My current girlfriend (Korean) is living with me, and I want her to leave my apartment. She wants to stay; even though I told her many times I don't love her and want her to find her own place. The lease is in my name, and I pay all the rent. I am a foreigner and have very little info on this situation. Is there somewhere I can go for help to get rid of her? PLEASE HELP ME!

Take her stuff and leave it outside the door. Change the locks too would be a good thing.

I was going to suggest the same thing.

You could also do the extreme thing: move and don't tell her where you are moving to.

Can you provide more context? From what you've written, it just seems like you've been suggesting that she move out-- and she doesn't really believe you.

What exactly have you done to make her leave? If you've only said things like, "You know... you've been here for a while now, don't you need to go home?" then we might be able to give you more help.

How do men normally deal with this without feeling like a schmuck for being the cause of a broken heart?

Give her a dead line such as 15, 20, or 30 days. Tell her she has to move or you'll move her stuff out. If she isn't out by the deadline, you pack up her things, set them outside and change the locks. Have a copy of your lease handy and a neutral Korea friend nearby in case she calls the cops.

Just think of how a women would deal with being the cause of a broken heart, but add common sense and rationality and PRESTO!, you have your answer.

gregtheman may be on to something, this could be a lot of fun!

I guess there is a period in most (if not every) girls' life that they cant control their stubborness, even knowing its totally ill.

I feel for her, but I think no one could help her before she becomes aware what she has done, just do everything mean you can to get her out of your place.

But again, dont take any advice here seriously. Laughing Laughing

She doesn't want to leave? Really? Wow, that's unexpected. She must really love you. Laughing Wink

Problem here is the form. You're speaking singular, instead of plural or numberless.

I guess it goes to show you should be careful who you let live with you. A lot of these Korean girls are kind of like adopting a cat (sorry if that's distasteful, but it's the analogy that always came to my mind). They don't work - you house them, feed them, etc. Good luck getting them to "leave" though - you've become their benefactor and they may have nowhere else to go to.

You could just take her on a drive in the woods and then suddenly open the door and coax her out. "Run along, you're FREE now."

Unless you're looking for marriage, it's unwise to date a Korean girl. As the OP has unfortunately learned the hard way, Korean women don't know the meaning of casual live in dating.

Truuust me, I learned the hard way. I've broken many hearts and I won't anymore.

As much as I would love to hook up regularly with the hotties I'm sourrounded by, which is so tempting and very easy, I refrain.

My advice to you would be to introduce her to some other desperate western sucker. Tell her that he is in love with her and that he has secretly loved her for a long time.

Tell her that she'll be much happier with him. Act like you are very happy for him and her and cry like a baby as she moves out and wish them both the best.

It worked for me.
