| These places will haggle a bit over prices. I have saved literally $50 on a $150 purchase by telling them it was too expensive. Wait for them to take out their caluculator and let the bargaining begin. |

The communication barrier was epic to begin with. Haggling was out of the question. Especially after I had to spend 40 minutes straightening out my CC company because they didn't expect me to be making big electronics purchases in Japan. |
