About time for the Korean soups. I swear to god I've had 소고기순두부 everyday for the past week. Fantastic. I'm pretty sure Jesus invented it on the 8th day.

Maaaaybe next week I'll branch out to the more expensive 감자탕... What sort of cold winter foods do you engulf while here?

I am excited for winter. I just ordered really warm clothing from LL BEAN and had it shipped to Korea. The kind of warm clothes that aren't made or really sold in Korea. I love you THINSULATE and minus 20 comfort range boots. I can't wait to hike some mountain when everyone else is freezing. Yee Haw!

설렁탕.

Big 'ole bowl of it, boiled down for two weeks with a double serving of rice, sliced beef, and some sea salt and red pepper flakes.

Just two examples off the top of my head. Probably from seeing DWEJIMORIGUKBAP all the time plastered over here. I don't mind soondae guk bap with some su yuk, freshly cut green onions, some of those salted shrimps and a little gochujang. You don't have to eat it =P

만두칼국수, 샤부샤뷰, 수제비, and 갈비탕 is always excellent in the winter. All of those have non-spicy broth that should warm you up.

삼계탕 is always appreciated.

순대국 if you like 순대 and random pig parts. I like it.

곰탕/설렁탕 (I don't know the difference between the 2. They taste the same to me)
