				| I think HP would have faired better, however they ran into a real mess thanks to a flawed NVIDIA chipset design they bought into rather heavily last year.  Other manufacturers had some difficulties with the same chipset, but nothing like HP suffered. |

				| I have had very good exprience with Toshiba, but like a previous poster , I upgrade every year. I did keep a 2003 model until this year & was running strong when I sold it. |
