|
|
I will be coming to Busan mid-February to teach. I am trying to get to Qingdao at the end of Feb to meet up with a friend who is sailing around the world and is stopping off in Qingdao. Could anybody give me a bit of advice on my quickest, cheapest and easiest way to get there. Would I be best to get a ferry from Seoul/Incheon? Fly from Busan directly/ indirectly. Flights directly there seem a bit expensive c.400. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance

| I did the ferry from Incheon to Dalian and it was great but it was an overnight journey. If you need speed, get an air ticket. |

It might be cheaper to take a bus or train up to Seoul. When I flew to Qingdao last summer that was the cheaper option.
Check www.interparktour.com or other Korean sites. |

i took a ferry from incheon to qingdao a few years ago- it was a great experience. we didn't go the lowest class though cause sleeping on a floor closely surrounded by strangers wasn't appealing.
a train to seoul and then ferry from incheon may be the cheapest. i don't remember how much the ferry was but it wasn't expensive. it is a longish ride though- we left in the afternoon and got there late the next morning, i believe. |
