Hey guys.
I'm leaving for Canada on Monday. I have a phone where I get a monthly bill.
I have a couple of questions.
I need to use my phone until Monday morning. I went to a SK shop, and the guy told me it isn't possible to cancel my phone today, for deactivation on Tuesday.
Can I cancel my phone at the airport?
Or could I leave the phone for the new teacher? I worry because it's in my name, and if he doesn't pay the bill, I might be screwed.
Any advice would be greatly appreiated. |

| It would probably be best if you leave it for the next teacher. Having an operating phone when you first move in is a big deal. Just show some character and don't leave a bunch of long distance calls on the next bill. |

| Nahh I would never do that to someone. I'm pretty big on karma. My concern though is that he won't pay the bill and I might get screwed if I come back in the future. |

What do you use the landline for anyway? I thought those were getting weeded out due to online calling. Chances are the person won't use it, so I would try to get it canceled, pay up on your bill and be done. Just give them an advance and say "This is what I will probably owe."
If you have to leave, you have to leave. The phone companies need to learn to work with that. |

| Ah... I should have mentioned. It's a handy-porn, not a land line. |
