How fast can you REALISTICALLY finish an online TESOL class?

Is it realistically possible to finish a 100hr online TESOL class in a few weeks? My friend took an in class one and finished it in 8 classes. I haven't enrolled in one yet but I need to finish it FAST since I'm conducting interviews with recruiters and employers. Thanks for your help guys!

I finished a 100 hour online TEFL course in seven days.

I have been teaching for quite a few years, so that did help some of the stuff go faster, but most of it was based in common sense.

Have you taught before? If you haven't, you might consider going through it a little bit slower and making sure that you learn whatever you can from your course. As long as you are enrolled in a course, most recruiters/schools will give you a little bit of time to finish it up. You don't need to have your certificate in hand before you apply.

I've never taught before. I told my recruiter I could finish it in a few weeks. She seemed amazed by it. I figured finish a couple units a day. I was thinking ontesol cause it got good reviews or ITTT. Do you recommend any others? Thanks for the fast reply!

Nice one. I'm doing the course at the moment and getting a bit sick of really. Just how in depth/difficult is the test? I was thinking that completing all questions on the worksheets might be necessary before attempting the test, but perhaps not. How did you find it?

Actually I'm hoping to do the same before my contract renewal comes up in a couple of months.

Any suggestions as to the best online course and how long it would take?

I guess it depends on if you actually have pride in your work. If you want you can take a cheap course($150) and get the answers from someone else. If you actually think you might try to learn something and or try to take pride in your work, you can do a real course that requires at least 2-3 weeks(hitting it hard) to a couple of months(leisurely). Mine is $330 and has a fair amount of work to do, I will read everything, write competent essays and take my time.

It's all about personal choice.

http://www.teflonline.com/ is good, fairly cheap at $330 and requires actual thought for some things, plus you can get the grammar Cert for free. I'm doing the Tutor support so I have write a bunch of short essays, but they aren't hard

I just finished my LAST lesson. And I'll be getting the certificate in the mail soon. But I enrolled in early May. I took my time digesting the material, most of which is common sense, but the tutor tends to only release 2 units at a time, which can suck if you complete them before the weekend and want to get more over the weekend to complete. It wasn't until that tutor left for unknown reasons when I got another tutor who released 4-5 at a time and that made the corrections and submissions go quickly.

Reasonably at a leisurely pace, 4-6 weeks.
