I suppose the next logical question is how comparable are the teaching years in terms of days of school? |
Don't know about the states but Korea has 214 instruction days and BC province in Canada was at 184 when I was last there.

Maybe Korean educations is really more efficient.
Don't forget in Korean maybe 10% or more are 'event' days. Plus throw in those test days. |

so test days, practice test days, prepping for the practice test days and event days excluded, there are about 17 instruction days per year in korea....... |
