I suspect the ones from China are almost all ethnically Korean and speak Korean as their mother tongue. There are some Russians (to fulfill fantasies of "riding a white horse") but not that many. Depends what Cities you go to Ulsan, Okpo in Geoje especially, have many Filippino Hostess bars. They are to cater for many Western Engineers and Sailors. In some of those clubs Koreans are banned.

The girls are actually on entertainer visas and have to supply a 4 CD track of them singing to immigration. Then many get to their 'clubs' and find out they owe 1000's of dollars and have to become prostitutes to pay off their 'debts' and send money back home

I think your numbers are a little off. Don't forget that the vast majority of super hot girls come from normal Korean families. As we know, girls are expected to be home early, spend lots of time with family, and live with their parents until they get married. I don't see how 90% could be working in room salons.

Also, assuming that they want to, and/or are prepared to, work in a room salon, not every girl can do that kind of work. The drinking alone is more than most men can handle. How many shots of whisky can you do in a hour and still appear sober and charming?

(By the way, this is not a personal attack on you misher, I normally like your posts, I just think you're a bit off the mark on this one)

It would take very little actual police work to shut down most of the brothels. I mean in itaewon theres a cop shop LITERALLY 50 yards away from a place known as "Hooker Hill" or the fishbowl brothels outside the youngsan station. I mean, seriously, it has banners saying no one under 18 should walk down the alley near youngsan. LOOOOOOOOORDY

There is however a lot of money to be made if a girl is that rediculously good looking. They were from good families and a simply lie like telling the fam that they were going to a pension with friends was all that it took. This is only hearsay but meh, I actually believe it when I went to Kangwon do and saw hundreds of love motels in the middle of nowhere. Getting money for sex doesn't have to happen in a room salon over 4 bottles of whiskey. Call it having a sugar daddy or whatever. It is still prostitution.

I guess my point is that the whole 90% number is in my opinion of course exaggerated. However, don't be surprised if you know or hear about a girl from a good family that has a dark side as well. It happens quite a bit according to Koreans I know. I'll take their word for it as us waegookens are pretty much barred from 99% of the sex industry here. Outside of Itaewon and ares where there are soldiers, most establishments and their services will not be on the table for a foreigner. That is a fact.
