Not drinking

I only snore if I have been drinking, no drinking no snoring = happy girlfriend (equals bored me)

Alcohol definitely affects it. My ex-wife could tell if I had even one beer in the middle of the afternoon just by how I snored at night.

Nope, he doesn't drink very often. Could it perhaps be weight gain? He has put on around 25 lbs in the past year.

Weight gain will increase snoring. So do sleeping pills, decongestants, drinking and sleeping on your back. You can put a wood block under the head of the bed to elevate it 5 inches.

It elevates the head of the bed by 5 inches.

Confused

You didn't get me......this is the answer!! All the wood block does is elevate the head of the bed, thereby elevating the sleeper's head! An elevated head should help with snoring.

1. Did he have this problem before he met you?
2. Has he ever had a nose injury?

My dad has a horrible snoring problem. He's used those breath-right strips and they didn't help.

That's what I wanted to know, thank you. I didn't know about the elevated thing being beneficial.

Number one is rather difficult to answer as I'd have to ask his exes in New Zealand. Smile As for the second question, yes I assume he has on a number of occasions as he did traditional boxing and kickboxing.

my wife used to give me elbows every night so one day I spent a couple hours on google and found a simple solution:

2 pillows under my head at night.
