Why don't you people just circumvent the whole nonsense of torrent websites and use Vuze? Once you start using it, it's irrelevant if one torrent site shuts down because there are still like 8 more to search from at the same time. Check it out:

Downloading torrents is theft from neither an ethical nor a legal perspective. Don't be duped by corporate propaganda; they want you to believe it's theft because when the average person hears the term theft they're inclined to condemn. |
Classic that someone with the FOX broadcasting logo is pro-downloading... could their regime change in the entertainment group?
Personally, I justify with "when in Rome"... "I was only following orders!!" |
steve, if I found your hair on the ground and decided to clone you, are you the victim of theft?
Use your critical thinking skills here. |

I've noticed TPB has been having stability issues for a few weeks, so the downtime doesn't surprise me.

Isohunt indexes torrents from Pirate Bay, so you've probably used their tracker a lot more than you think :p

Congratulations, but I wasn't talking about download speed. |

If that's the case, it's still much more convenient than downloading torrents off of websites. It's a bit sluggish, but it works. |

Seems you're right. Now it's back up. Thanks for all the recommendations from everyone else too. It's good to know there are alternatives. |
