The Asia list was topped by the four Japanese cities followed by Seoul, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, Beijing and Busan in South Korea. |

Oh right I guess I read it wrong- still you can get a nice hotel for 30,000 won in most any city here on the other hand I had to pay 20 Euro - like 40 dollars for an 18 man room in Germany and had to pay like 70 for a beat up motel room in Versailles France when I ewnt to see the Sun King's palace even Jeju a tourist trap offers cheap min bak places for like 30-40 dollars a night - I guess they are talking about cheese which in Korea goes for the same rate as gold. |

lol where are you finding these nice hotels for 30,000? I've never seen anything that low before. I've seen like 45 or 50ish....but 30 seems hella cheap to me. |

Let's not confuse love motels with hotels. Do cheap hotels exist in Korea? Never stayed in one. |

These rankings are based on how much you spend to have a Western lifestyle, so they're a bit skewed. |
