There will be nationwide air-raid drills this Wednesday at 2pm.

There will be fighter jets in the air to simulate a North Korean attack.

Citizens will also be told to find cover.

BUT repeat, this will be a DRILL> So don't soil yourselves.

Thanks!

is this everywhere in seoul as well? i've got a workshop at 2:30 this wednesday and was planning on leaving my school at 2 to get there. i've been outside on the street before during an air-raid drill, but had to stop. what will they do if i just continue walking? will the buses still be running during this time?

It is nationwide. Read my first post. You'll have to follow the rules, there will be no buses running.

I suggest youleave your job a little earlier that day.

I can still hear some distant sirens.

Just saw the most half-assed attempt at an evacuation. The students were all brought out into the hallways, they stood around being noisy for about five minutes, and now they're back at their desks.

If there was to be a war, this nation is really not prepared.

People here take the meaning 'armchair general' to a whole new level
