There will be nationwide air-raid drills this Wednesday at 2pm.
There will be fighter jets in the air to simulate a North Korean attack.
Citizens will also be told to find cover.
BUT repeat, this will be a DRILL> So don't soil yourselves.
Thanks! |

is this everywhere in seoul as well? i've got a workshop at 2:30 this wednesday and was planning on leaving my school at 2 to get there. i've been outside on the street before during an air-raid drill, but had to stop. what will they do if i just continue walking? will the buses still be running during this time? |

It is nationwide. Read my first post. You'll have to follow the rules, there will be no buses running.
I suggest youleave your job a little earlier that day. |

South Korea, which has remained technically at war with the communist North since their 1950-1953 conflict, usually conducts such drills without aircraft three times a year. They are widely ignored by the public. |

I can still hear some distant sirens.
Just saw the most half-assed attempt at an evacuation. The students were all brought out into the hallways, they stood around being noisy for about five minutes, and now they're back at their desks. |

If there was to be a war, this nation is really not prepared.
People here take the meaning 'armchair general' to a whole new level |
