I want to bring a gift home. I want to bring that bread filled with red bean paste. Does anyone know if it'll keep for a 16+ hour flight (Including layovers)?????
Adding ice packs might help but, I doubt it'll last the full flight.
Has anyone brought something similar and can tell me how they did it? |

what are your layovers? If you go through Narita, they won't let you take any liquid on the plane with you, despite it being duty free and receipt in hand. I had a friend who bought soju duty free and despite it being sealed with the receipt in hand, they confiscated it. |

Are you serious???? I am flying through Narita. What if I packed it in my check-on, not carry on?
Worse comes to worse, I can buy it while I'm in Narita. I'll be laid over for a couple hours |

Is there a particular brand that you want or is it not readily available in your home city? Most Korean markets in the U.S. carry those buns in the frozen food section. |

Korean market is a bit a ways. And I figured its always cheaper to buy it at the source. You get more bang for the buck. The cheapest price I found was like 15,000 for 3 kgs. And I sampled it too, better than most.
If this doesn't work out, might as buy ginseng. Can't ever go wrong with that.

check on will be okay. I think it may have been on that security checkpoint before you get to the departure gate. |
