I want to bring a gift home. I want to bring that bread filled with red bean paste. Does anyone know if it'll keep for a 16+ hour flight (Including layovers)?????

Adding ice packs might help but, I doubt it'll last the full flight.

Has anyone brought something similar and can tell me how they did it?

what are your layovers? If you go through Narita, they won't let you take any liquid on the plane with you, despite it being duty free and receipt in hand. I had a friend who bought soju duty free and despite it being sealed with the receipt in hand, they confiscated it.

Are you serious???? I am flying through Narita. What if I packed it in my check-on, not carry on?

Worse comes to worse, I can buy it while I'm in Narita. I'll be laid over for a couple hours

Is there a particular brand that you want or is it not readily available in your home city? Most Korean markets in the U.S. carry those buns in the frozen food section.

Korean market is a bit a ways. And I figured its always cheaper to buy it at the source. You get more bang for the buck. The cheapest price I found was like 15,000 for 3 kgs. And I sampled it too, better than most.

If this doesn't work out, might as buy ginseng. Can't ever go wrong with that.

Wink

check on will be okay. I think it may have been on that security checkpoint before you get to the departure gate.
