|
|
Been doing some research on the easiest way to get my visa for a short stay in Vietnam. Some say going to the embassy is best, but a few have recommended the site http://www.myvietnamvisa.com/.
Has anyone used this? Is it legit? |

Never did that site but I would highly recommend my man Phat [email protected] He speaks good english, can get the visa done overnight, and on the cheap. He's a local. He even showed me around the city, went to have lunch and coffee with him too. |

Yeah the site is legit and and easy as to use
One thing though, make sure you have cash when you land at the airport to pay for the actual stamp on your passport. Its not much, i forget the exact amount but cash is the only payment option.
When I was there no one else had cash and had to wait in a long long at the ATM. I arrived last out of about 8-10 people and got processed in minutes |

Can this site be used if travelling into Vietnam overland or do I need to contact the Vietnamese embassy directly? I'll be entering Vietnam from Cambodia.
Thanks |

Just had a good luck through the website, if arriving overland you cannot use this service. Bummer
So leads me to my next question, has anyone arranged their overland visa with the vietnamese embassy in Seoul? If so whats required etc? I have emailed them also but would like to hear about peoples experiences with the process.
I know it could be done in Cambodia but we really don't have that much travel time, I wouldn't like to waste a day or two where I don't have to. |

I'm in your boat candy!
I have tried calling the embassy but no luck getting it. Lots of wrong #'s on different websites.
Has anyone done this through the mail? I live in Daegu and I'm working full time and I cannot get to the embassy in person.
Any help would be appreciated! |

Its infuriating, both my boyfriend and myself have tried several email addresses but to no avail. I've been reading that its very easy and hassle free to get it in Cambodia and it can be done in a day, also costs alot less there.
Can anyone back this up? As I said above we're on a time limit so I'd hate to have to wait around for days and cut days off my travel in Vietnam. |

I've heard that too Candy. Lonely planet and several forums have people who did this. But it depends on the city.
I just got a response from the Seoul Embassy. If you PM me your email address, I'll forward the info to you. |
