I understand that people make mistakes. I also understand that customer service is important for businesses to succeed. What is the 'common' practice when items are mis-priced?
I took a product up to the counter and laid down the won. The lady told me the item was mis-labed and the price is really something else. I paid the difference. I also felt inclined to say,"the price tag says #### so that is what you are getting." Anybody with retail experience that has some insight into this? |

I'm pretty sure that most chain stores in the States are required to charge you whatever the listed price is, even if it's ridiculously wrong. |

I don't think that's a legal requirement, but some stores have that as a policy. |

They are not required to do squat. Many, however, will make certain adjusts or give you some credit to maintain good customer relations. |

Sorry, I meant it as a policy coming from above, i.e. corporate, not that they're legally required to do so. |
