If this is a repeat question, I apologize, but I have spent quite some time trying to find the answer, which I need fairly quickly.
I have been fired from my current hagwon and want to transfer to another one, and am confused about the situation with the letter of release and visa transfer. I came before January 1st, so I did not need to submit an FBI check. If I get the letter of release, will I be able to transfer to another school without a big ordeal? I am American so I don't know if switching schools is different for us compared to other nationalities. Any info or links would be greatly appreciated, thanks. |

Yep, you just need to fill out the LOR and some paperwork. This is all assuming you have worked here for 6 months or more. Have you? And you've been fired (lol, why?) are you sure you'll be able to get the LOR? |

OP, Do you have another school lined up yet? If you do ask them as they will probably be able to answer those questions. |

I just found out yesterday, and I will be here until the end of April, so I will not have been here a full 6 months by that time. No, I havent found a school yet because I just found out yesterday.
There's no way to change schools having been here less than 6 months under my current visa? Even with a LOR? |
