He wasn't re-inventing the wheel. Everything in the article is common knowledge. Has been since I have been alive. People choose their own destiny and getting fat and obese is a choice.

I'll have a deep fried Trilobite with a side order of Crinoid stems.
That will be followed by a generous portion of boiled Brachiopods and some raw ammonites.

Hey! Now that's a real low-carb meal. Sounds Yummy. Though I'd much prefer to have my ammonites steamed rather than raw.
