I've been a bit "randy" the past few months, and I thought I should get myself checked out. I live in Haebangchon and know about some 100,000W international clinic in Itaewon where they speak English, but frankly I think I can get by at a normal Korean hospital... the last run of tests I remember getting was something like 20,000W, though that was in a small town.

Anyone know how this works? Anyone have any hospitals or clinics to recommend? Some English spoken is definitely a bonus, but really I just want something cheap, quick, and simple.

And yes... I know I'm dealing with something important here, and I'll go to the international clinic if need be, but I don't have any symptoms of anything and just want to be safe. Sorry for the personal nature of this post, but not sure where else to find this stuff out.

Thanks. |

If you want to be safe, rubber up. Other than that, most people on here tend to cite the aforementioned Int'l Clinic which seems to cost an arm and a leg, or Wooskin Clinic: www.wooskin.co.kr

Good luck! |

Thanks, guys. Unfortunately I'm still looking. Wooksin charges 150,000 for the test, which is even more than the International Clinic in Itaewon, I believe. KHAP Seoul only tests for HIV.

Anyone else?? |

				| There's "the other" International clinic, located above the 7-Eleven (mart?) across the street from Goldfish Bar in Itaewon. They charge about 50,000 won now, I hear. The test is sent out to a respected lab, even though the clinic looks kinda old and basic inside. |

Thanks. Have you been there? Do I need to make an appointment? What are their hours? Do you know how long it takes to get test results? |
