I've been a bit "randy" the past few months, and I thought I should get myself checked out. I live in Haebangchon and know about some 100,000W international clinic in Itaewon where they speak English, but frankly I think I can get by at a normal Korean hospital... the last run of tests I remember getting was something like 20,000W, though that was in a small town.

Anyone know how this works? Anyone have any hospitals or clinics to recommend? Some English spoken is definitely a bonus, but really I just want something cheap, quick, and simple.

And yes... I know I'm dealing with something important here, and I'll go to the international clinic if need be, but I don't have any symptoms of anything and just want to be safe. Sorry for the personal nature of this post, but not sure where else to find this stuff out.

Thanks.

If you want to be safe, rubber up. Other than that, most people on here tend to cite the aforementioned Int'l Clinic which seems to cost an arm and a leg, or Wooskin Clinic: www.wooskin.co.kr

Good luck!

Google KHAP Seoul. It is a government clinic (completely anonymous) . The website will tell you how to make an appointment..................

Thanks, guys. Unfortunately I'm still looking. Wooksin charges 150,000 for the test, which is even more than the International Clinic in Itaewon, I believe. KHAP Seoul only tests for HIV.

Anyone else??

There's "the other" International clinic, located above the 7-Eleven (mart?) across the street from Goldfish Bar in Itaewon. They charge about 50,000 won now, I hear. The test is sent out to a respected lab, even though the clinic looks kinda old and basic inside.

Thanks. Have you been there? Do I need to make an appointment? What are their hours? Do you know how long it takes to get test results?
