I am wondering if is okay to leave on the day that your ARC expires or if it is considered to be expired at that point. I would leave the day before it expires, but that day happens to be my birthday and I would rather not spend that day in transit.

| As long as you are out of the country by 12 midnight that day...you should be fine. I've left three times on the last day and never had a problem. |

You have to be stamped out through passport control by 23:59 on the last date indicated on your ARC.
After you are though passport control you can stay in the secure zone at ICN for a day or two (there is a transit hotel in there) without worry.
