Yank journalist Bryant Gumbel covered the 88 Olympics in Seoul and recently returned to Korea to film a spot on female golfers. Here is an interesting clip on his reflections of how Korea has changed since 88 (and how it has stayed the same):

Yeah, he was an excellent example of how Koreans are anything but polite to a fault. Mr. Gumbel, don't even pretend to know the first thing about this place. You're embarrassing yourself. Make your little video then go home. |

Well, it is true if you're visiting. Actually working in country is a different story. Also it helps if you look American and not some SE Asian tourist. |
