Hey y'all

How scary is it when the recruiting agency places an ad for a job which reads 'work days, Mom-Fry'(recently found on job board)!!??

Wouldn't you think that the people hired to bring people to Korea to teach English would have a slightly better command of the English language themselves?

I mean, you might mistake 'Mom for Mon', but 'Fry'!? Shocked

I always find it funny when ads are listed as "decent job openings" or when jobs state in the listing that tax is 3.3%. Nothing like being open about cheating you!

Spelling mistakes happen. I can forgive, after I have a giggle. What I can not forgive is having the actual ability to communicate with me. Recruiters who can not communicate with me in English via phone or email, are just a waste of time.

The tax rate thing, well that is less the recruiters fault, then the schools fault. What I do not like is recruiters who do not know their business. When a recruiter does not understand how a D-10 works, then they are a cruddy one. If they do not know what steps are needed to get a teacher a visa, they are a waste of time and make life complicated. Being sneaky and avoiding telling the complete truth about a school, I once again understand. It is their nature. NET's need to understand these people.

Maybe they have some family restaurant option for lunch if you work there Laughing

Anyway, it doesn't matter. Talk with the school and see how you get along with them.

Might have been the auto-correct / spell check feature rather than poor English language skills.

I have the same problems with my tablet.
