^ Yeah Macklemore is alright, I prefer electro/house music. Even dance mixes from guys like DJ Blend seem to do the trick for me.

Just finished listening to the Beach Boys "Pet Sounds" on the subway, an utterly amazing album, no matter how many times you listen to it. I can see how its #2 on Rolling Stones top 500 albums of all time after Sgt Pepper.

Also doing complete re-listening of Springsteen's "Born to Run" and "Darkness on the Edge of Town" as I work through last years Springsteen biography. That has helped me put both of those albums into context

If you like hip hop, POS and his group Doomtree are some of the best recent hip hop acts I've heard recently.

Tool and Linkin Park are pretty good cures to the omnipresent K-Pop.

I've been listening to "Help" on my drive to work. Used to have the original American version of the album and was not impressed, and recently decided to give it a re-listen. Found the 2009 re-mastered version and put it on my car system and thoroughly enjoyed it. Have re-played it once a day or so for the last two weeks.
