How so? I simply stated uni gigs arent the clear cut best jobs in Korea anymore and backed up my claim with FACTS. Whereas as usual on Daves the "all my uni friends are making 3.0+!!" crowd simply talked out of their arse with no facts to back it up. If someone who is impartial is reading this thread which side are they going to believe? The answer is obvious. |

| If you ladies are done arguing about silly things, tell me if i will hate my job in a public school and should go find a hagwon? Is it right in assuming they both have their benefits and either way people who are prone to being negative annoyances (looking at you IPayInCash) will find problems with both? |

| If it's your first time teaching in Korea, a public school is a safer bet. You may or may not have a good time, but it's a bit more secure than a hagwon. Later on, if you network well, you could find one of the rare great hagwons, or a university job. There are also corporate jobs, but they are *usually* reserved for F-visa holders, though it is possible for E-visa holders to get them. |

The only disadvantages I can see with a public school are being put in a rural area or having a horrible relationship with the co-teacher. Takes longer to get your documents and stuff in order, but it's worth saving you the headaches with the secure pay and benefits. |

And regardless of which job you take I'll STILL have a better gig than you.
Better try a new angle to attack me with. Maybe one of my board lapdogs can give you something better to work with. |
