300 million people is not going to work. You've got to subtract for people in nursing homes, baby and children who don't yet travel in cars and when they do are in car seats, the poor who don't have cars and use public transportation and so on.
|
For goodness sakes atwood, your own 194 million drivers number at 15% comes out to 29.1 million. Add in some people who aren't licensed and drive illegally, those who are passengers, negligent parents who don't buckle up their children and licensed drivers who buckle up in the front but not in the back or even passenger seat and you easily get over the 30 million mark- 10s of millions.

Drunk driving checkpoints come and go in Korea. It's not a concerted effort. But it does show an attempt to change the drinking culture in SK. It's had some effect, but not enough to say the culture of drinking has changed. |
It certainly has changed the culture of drinking and driving. I'd say that its pretty much on par with back home, maybe even better off due to cheap public transportation and affordable Drive Your Car Home services. Of course more people in S. Korea are getting bombed. |

Why are some of you people still debating Steelrails. When you see his (highly appropriate) avatar just skip down to the next post. Honestly, would you stand at your front door debating a religious freak for hours on end or just close the door?
Close the door fellas. Maybe he wiull move on to another building. |
Q: Why are some people still debating Steelrails

You're wrong, I'm right. Figure it out. Come back with documentation of your work.
BTW, you're not just responding to an sr post, you're going through it with a supposedly fine-tooth comb that you got out of a vending machine at that club--you know which one--that your babysitter says you sneak into.
So who's the nit-
wit? |

The nitwit is you, of course.
Here is an example of a grammatically correct sentence:
"Your assertion regarding three hundred people is not going to hold water."
Anybody knows that "300 million people is not going to work" is a grammatical disaster.
Anybody besides a nitwit.
And about your BTW, I did not say anything about commenting on Steelrails post.
I made a comment because it is commentable.
I am not debating Steelrails. You are. |

If I'm a nitwit and yet you are getting busy attempting to correct my perfectly acceptable grammar, what does that say about you, snakeboy? |
