It seems the transfer is going to be delayed a bit, as it seems they were supposed to move at the end of 2016. I could be wrong, but weren't there other dates where this was already supposed to have occurred?

| The U.S. wants SK to take command of the forces on the peninsula, and Hagel has expressed displeasure that SK keeps postponing the handover. Maybe this is a way to force SK's hand. If you want us out of Seoul, you've got to carry the ball from now on. |

| I've heard that the high school on base no longer has grade 9 classes, since it's scheduled to close before an incoming grade 9 class would graduate. Not rock solid proof that the base is moving of course, but a strong signal. |

| Does this mean it'll be harder to find foreign goods in Seoul at the undergrounds markets? (Though those markets aren't the relief they once were.) |
