I see an ad up for a nursing job in Daejon... would like a PhD?
Maybe a Korean with a PhD in the west and would like t return?
Thats fine.
But the pay is about 30% in the west.

I'm pretty sure someone in the States with a PhD in nursing would be clearing $200,000 without issue, and significantly higher than that isn't out of the question by any means. What was this job offering?

If you look on te job board for korea you will see it.

Maybe someone for early retirement?

Who would even have a PHD in Nursing anyways? The most qualified nurses would instead have a Nurse Practioner's license/rating. The course work and training is more akin to getting an M.D. and the research/theory/pedagogy that would go into getting a PHD in Nursing.

Many 1000's of Professors of Nursing in Departments of Nursing in colleges/universities all over the world.

This, but I think a lot of nursing professors get by with just a masters.
