I see an ad up for a nursing job in Daejon... would like a PhD?
Maybe a Korean with a PhD in the west and would like t return?
Thats fine.
But the pay is about 30% in the west. |

I'm pretty sure someone in the States with a PhD in nursing would be clearing $200,000 without issue, and significantly higher than that isn't out of the question by any means. What was this job offering? |

Who would even have a PHD in Nursing anyways? The most qualified nurses would instead have a Nurse Practioner's license/rating. The course work and training is more akin to getting an M.D. and the research/theory/pedagogy that would go into getting a PHD in Nursing. |

Many 1000's of Professors of Nursing in Departments of Nursing in colleges/universities all over the world. |

This, but I think a lot of nursing professors get by with just a masters. |
