Another graffiti artist conjectured, “It is likely that foreigners who used to practice graffiti art are working as English teachers during the day and painting at night.”

Cheers mate.

“And we discovered that most of them are from Australia or Canada based on the style of graffiti paintings.”

Is the style really that distinct to be able to identify them as from Australia or Canada?

So what will be the consequences of this? Will they get put on a travel watch list now by their respective countries?

Idiots. Hope any future perpetrators get caught and punished.

The article said nothing about any arrests.

I highly doubt there will be arrests, unless the perpetrators literally fall into their laps. And even if that happened, they'd let them go after a few rounds of shared soju.

Probably not a top priority, it's not like they hurt anyone, just an annoyance. Not worth it getting them onto interpol's most wanted list.

I just don't get graffiti of a used space. An old abandoned factory or wall or something, whatever. But to graffiti something that is in use and someone else's property? What kind of mindset thinks that's okay? No concept of respect for other people's property.

I'm sure they'd be down if someone spray painted a swastika all over their house. Why is it okay for them to do it to others, but wrong for others to do it to them?

I couldn't agree more. I just don't know how they figure it's Canadians and Australians. I have a slight suspicion that they might be gyopos trying to introduce this aspect of Western "culture" to Korea. Anyway, lock them up whoever they are.
