Really, this is the best advice you can possibly get.

Next, they will start lying and saying you hit them etc.

You didn't happen to notice that the OP said he was born Korean?

Nope (edit) - I would still stand by what Ive posted (minus the devils part) - koreans do have a massive tendency to lie, especially when they either lose face or benefit from it in some way.

You have done more than impugn the general credibility of an entire people, you have also slurred the entire Korean court system as extremely biased, such that foreigners should not expect to receive a fair hearing in any circumstance.

I have seen many on Dave's blast the Korean court system, but I have seen little evidence of its bias against foreigners. It is simply an article of faith around here.

You want to tell me that laymen Koreans prefer Koreans when conflict arises? Fine. You argue that Korean judges, professionals and adjudicators of the law, cannot come to a fair decision when a foreigner is involved? Show some evidence.

Ok, but having seen multiple times the Korean courts/people vs foreigners, Im yet to be convinced that your conjecture/opinion is anymore correct than mine.
Evidence? Ive experienced it myself 3 times. How do you want me to prove it? Perhaps I should collect some witness testimonies for you?

Joking aside at the silliness of what you implied (Koreans are infact an honest race and Im making stereotypes etc.), I agree, with you in one area. With regard to foreigners and the labour board, the legal system does seem to have taken a turn for the better. However, if you are implying that in a situation where there was physical assault or an accusation, and one person was of Korean heritage and one was say Australian (no offense intended to Australians), that both would stand an equal chance of proving their innocence, then I would have to disagree and say - you sir, are a troll of the highest rank (or a Korean).

No matter what you think is wrong about his actions, you are the foreigner (I'm assuming) dealing with a doctor (again, consider that status) and two Korean nurses...and dealing with Korean cops that will almost certainly consider that doctors "status"

Thanks Yeah your message made me feel better. I have no one who I can talk to about this so talking to you guys made me feel better. I do not want to tell any of my Korean friends about this because I do not want them to have a negative image of me.
I understand and agree with you that doctors have high status in Korea. Actually I am Korean by birth and I was about 5 years older than the doctor. So I found it really insolent which really infuriates me.

Cool, but don't let it bother you so much. There are doctors on every corner. I wont assume about your " attitude" when you asked after his general questions " Can I get some meds"....its just kind of a given and maybe a warning sign to doctors when people come in somewhat "eager" to get meds.

Considering you said you would be taking a trip that may likely involve air travel, and considering the pressure changes in the air, and how it effects sinus and nasal passages, the doctor may have been taking your situation into a bit more consideration. Maybe that you are Korean and he is younger, you didnt like his attitude as you are Korean enough to expect younger people to speak to you a certain way..and when they dont blow up like a taxi ajussi?

Just visit the doctor down the street and I'm sure you wont have any problems and will be able to get your meds.

Huh? Blow up like a taxi ajussi? Where did you get that from? Do you live with people who blow up like taxi ajussis? Are you projecting? I do not know how you automatically assumed I blew up like that unless you are personally familiar with that sort of behavior. No I did not blow up like a taxi ajussi. The doctor got rude when I was politely listening to his ramble and then I politely asked if he could possibly give me meds. That's when he RUDELY said "Have you not heard anything I've told you so far?" Perhaps you are not aware of how normal people react towards rude savage behavior. And it's clear you do not know that the doc was rude. Perhaps that's cos you cannot tell the difference. It says a lot about who you are. Shame on you.

Hi, no I have no injuries or anything like that. And I do not want to hire a lawyer. I just want to drag them to the police station and see what satisfaction I can get there. I really found the doctor really rude and arrogant. I went to the doctor to get some cold meds for travels next week. When I first sat down I told him about my condition. But he just kept asking me many questions for about 5 minutes, like how much do I exercise, smoke, drink etc. I politely listened to him.

So you thought your doctor was rude and arrogant because he spent 5 minutes asking about your medical background before he prescribed you medication? Did he even have a medical history to examine? Doctors are supposed to ask those questions. Idiot patients don't answer those questions and don't give that information and then either get medication that doesn't treat their condition or worse, causes a reaction.

You do realize that say "cough and fever" is a symptom of hundreds of possible illnesses, right? You also realize that the doctor has to ask if you smoke and stuff so he can rule out ordering an x-ray for you because you might have a lung condition or something, right?

Also, you can't just demand medication. Doctors have to diagnose you.

And yes nurses and doctors are allowed to touch you, but you can't touch them. A patient who acts disruptive and argumentative can be restrained.

Doctors and nurses deal with sick morons everyday who demand a bunch of stuff and have little to no concept of medicine. They also have people who are suffering from the common cold who are coming in and demanding drugs when they could just get some over-the-counter stuff and drink some fluids and rest.

That doesn't mean crap. The doctor went to med school. You didn't. Listen to him.

Did it ever occur to you that your sweeping generalizations, erroneous assumptions, failure to clearly read what the OP wrote, and not knowing the background story might be connected to your 3 losing court appearances?
