You know what it isnt just your hair. All my kids color the sun red. So maybe korean children just percieve red and yellow to be the same.

What an interesting comment. I was teaching about colour, asking for examples of things that were red, and the first time a kid said "the sun", I was completely thrown for a loop. After a few dozen more comments like this, I just grumble, point to the sun, mutter, and give them the point anyway.

The Ojibwae language (spoken by the Aboriginal people in the plains of central Canada) uses a single word to describe red, yellow and brown. There may be something to this theory of yours...

Ojibwae is also northern canada?

They are also the predominant Native American Indians throughout Michigan. Central Michigan University Chippewas and all that.

Chippewa Indian Reservation in Michigan where at CMU you could major in Ojibwae.
