I've applied to a really sweet job (that probably has a billion applicants ) on Friday night and I haven't heard anything back yet. When do you guys usually start hearing back from public schools and hagwons?
Thanks! |

Usually it is immediately, if not sooner.
They tend to be eager to get a teacher.
Dis you go through a recruiter? |

I'm fairly certain that email response times are wildly sporadic depending on the individual. But if they have a lot of emails, expect them to have a short list after the first 20.
If you have their phone number, then I'd be on the horn with them at least, once a day. And I would be re-emailing them every day, with a subject line that stands out. |

If you are using a hotmail or yahoo email address, it could be that they never got your application. |

Maybe you are demanding too much. What are you looking for? |

Have you tried calling them to see if they got your email? |

My school always set a specific application period and NEVER answered anyone until the end date. (By then most applicants had moved on.)
You may want to contact the school and ask about that. |
