how do i get it so that when i click a link on my msn messenger it goes to english and not the korean site? |

it would depend on what version of Windows you're using. If you're using a Korean version than it will go to the Korean sight.. or the Korean or English MSN (not sure on that one) but i use the English msn on my computer and with English windows and it goes to english hotmail sight. |

99% of my web access is in english. its just when i go to add emoticons or do a contact search it comes up in hongul. My settings are already set to english but i still have hongul in some parts of my messenger....weired |

For MSN messenger, install an English version to run it in English. Fot the MSN site, go to www.MSN.com. |

MSN is probably not the problem. If your operating system (ex. Windows XP) is installed as a Korean region then it will Internet Explorer will tell websites that it prefers KR-EU which means big search websites like Yahoo.com and MSN.com will detect that and use the most opporiate language for that region. |

Superhero is right. Also, it can depend upon where (which country) you registered your Hotmail passport location....that and having your "location" in Windows set for an English-speaking country. |

Korean version of windows and I have to change it "post fact".
