I am going to do my first winter camp in Korea soon. My middle school has given me permission, and I have a valid E-2 visa. Do I need to do anything else to be legal? I would much rather ask here than rely on the camp. I worked a summer camp, but my school district sponsored it, so this wasnt a worry. This camp will be run by a hokwan or a uni.
Thanks

You need to add this second job on to your ARC in order to be legal. To do this, you need to get a contract and other documents from the new employer as well as a permission letter from your current employer and take them all to immigration with a fee (maybe 30,000 won). At immigration you will file a form called Permission to change or modify Status of Sojourn (or something). Your new employer, the camp should help you to get all the required documents together.

Well... if Immigration decides to check and see if everyone working at your camp is 'legal', you're in deep 'doo doo'. If they don't, you can say - "It's ony illegal if you're caught."

While we're on the topic, how long is a winter camp visa valid for? Not an add-on to a current visa, but a visa for folks who are out of the country and are coming in for the camp?
