How much is flight tax these days. Is it unheard of to be charged over 200,000 won in taxes on an international flight to the USA or Canada? |

Seems to be a catchall for whatever charges the travel agency can cook up. I got quotes from two travel agencies on a flight home a couple of weeks ago. Both had the same ticket price, but one wanted 75,000 for tax, and the other wanted nearly 400,000 |

Well, Toronto has the highest airport tax in the world, so that may play a factor. It is rediculous the tax that happens at Pearson. So, if that is what's included in tax, than I wouldn't doubt seeing 200,000 for tax. |

I know that when My director paid for my flight to Australia Leaving early may there was 230,000 in taxes.
I nearly fell over backwards ( I am an Aviation hobbiest ) to see that taxes was nearly 40% of the fare
thats only to Sydney |
