plugs in south korea - can i use my laptop?

hey guys,

i'm moving to pusan, south korea next week and will need my laptop for multiple reasons while i'm there. is there some type of outlet converter or something i need to use it there? your help much appreciated. thanks!

In short, yes. Look at your power brick. Look at the cable that runs from the brick to the wall outlet. That snaps out. You can buy a local version at almost any computer shop in Korea. Even if you don't know Korean, just bring your brick into a computer store and with hand motions indicate what you need. Costs about $2.

Most laptops are multi voltage. if I look at the box thing that runs along my plug, it says 100-240V. I only need the small plug converter.

Plug converters are cheap but can be a bit difficult to find sometimes. Buy a few in case one gets lost or busted.
