hey guys,
i'm moving to pusan, south korea next week and will need my laptop for multiple reasons while i'm there. is there some type of outlet converter or something i need to use it there? your help much appreciated. thanks! |

In short, yes. Look at your power brick. Look at the cable that runs from the brick to the wall outlet. That snaps out. You can buy a local version at almost any computer shop in Korea. Even if you don't know Korean, just bring your brick into a computer store and with hand motions indicate what you need. Costs about $2. |

Most laptops are multi voltage. if I look at the box thing that runs along my plug, it says 100-240V. I only need the small plug converter. |

Plug converters are cheap but can be a bit difficult to find sometimes. Buy a few in case one gets lost or busted. |
