Does anybody know what is happening this weekend to celebrate Canada Day (July 1st) and U.S. Independence Day (July 4th)? Are there any good parties in Seoul or elsewhere?

I would love to do something for Independence Day. Too bad the base won't be doing anything special with American civilians. I know the embassy won't be doing a damn thing. Assholes.

How about the American Chamber of Commerce? The Canadian one threw a BBQ last Sunday.

Or everyone could head down to the Rocky Mountain Tavern in Itaewon. They're having a toga party on saturday. Weird! What does that have to do with Canada Day? Shocked

Oh please. Have you been on the American Chamber of Commerce's website? They do about as much as the American embassy. I love the Canadian Chamber of Commerce. They threw a great Christmas party, and if I'm still here next Christmas I'm definitely going back.

If you live in Pusan, 'Starface' on Dalmaji is having a Cananda day bash this saturn-day. I think they're having some games/events if yr. into that, but for me the equation is: a plate of meat + cheap drinks + soccer at midnight = good times.
