Does anybody know what is happening this weekend to celebrate Canada Day (July 1st) and U.S. Independence Day (July 4th)? Are there any good parties in Seoul or elsewhere? |

I would love to do something for Independence Day. Too bad the base won't be doing anything special with American civilians. I know the embassy won't be doing a damn thing. Assholes. |

How about the American Chamber of Commerce? The Canadian one threw a BBQ last Sunday.
Or everyone could head down to the Rocky Mountain Tavern in Itaewon. They're having a toga party on saturday. Weird! What does that have to do with Canada Day? |

Oh please. Have you been on the American Chamber of Commerce's website? They do about as much as the American embassy. I love the Canadian Chamber of Commerce. They threw a great Christmas party, and if I'm still here next Christmas I'm definitely going back. |

If you live in Pusan, 'Starface' on Dalmaji is having a Cananda day bash this saturn-day. I think they're having some games/events if yr. into that, but for me the equation is: a plate of meat + cheap drinks + soccer at midnight = good times. |
