I know I'm getting ahead of myself, but haven't seen the folks in three years and would need a dog sitter to be able to go. Just sending out very generalized feelers right now.

Me.
But that won't be much help for you.
Don't feel sorry for me either because the skiing is good here.

If you really loved your pet you would introduce it to your parents.

gang ah jee,

three things why that is not a good idea:

1. my mother is extremely allergic to dogs

2. I have two dogs and that would mean that one would have to fly cargo, which I consider cruel and would never agree to it. (Did extensive checking back when I thought I was moving back to the States and did not find even one airline that would permit one person to bring TWO dogs as carry-on.

3. I rather wonder if transporting pets will still be allowed by Xmas time considering that carry-on luggage is getting eliminated.

Wait, thought of oen more:

4. My older dog HATES HATES HATES flying and works himself up to the point where he froths at the mouth out of sheer terror.

I much prefer letting the dogs remain in their own home for that week than to drag them clear over to America and back again in less than a week. THat would be so stressful for them. If they stay at home, I'll be the only one to suffer. Seriously....I got stressed out when a co-worker took the little one out for a 10 minute walk last night...without me. I HATE to be separated from them (one reason I haven't been back in so long), but they are traitors and love people in general.

Actually, I think it was a joke...but it was even funnier when you took it seriously.

I'm going to be here...if you need a dog sitter, and you're in the Seoul vicinity, let me know in 4 months.
