| I know I'm getting ahead of myself, but haven't seen the folks in three years and would need a dog sitter to be able to go. Just sending out very generalized feelers right now. |

If you really loved your pet you would introduce it to your parents. |

gang ah jee,
three things why that is not a good idea:
1. my mother is extremely allergic to dogs
2. I have two dogs and that would mean that one would have to fly cargo, which I consider cruel and would never agree to it. (Did extensive checking back when I thought I was moving back to the States and did not find even one airline that would permit one person to bring TWO dogs as carry-on.
3. I rather wonder if transporting pets will still be allowed by Xmas time considering that carry-on luggage is getting eliminated.
Wait, thought of oen more:
4. My older dog HATES HATES HATES flying and works himself up to the point where he froths at the mouth out of sheer terror.
I much prefer letting the dogs remain in their own home for that week than to drag them clear over to America and back again in less than a week. THat would be so stressful for them. If they stay at home, I'll be the only one to suffer. Seriously....I got stressed out when a co-worker took the little one out for a 10 minute walk last night...without me. I HATE to be separated from them (one reason I haven't been back in so long), but they are traitors and love people in general. |

Actually, I think it was a joke...but it was even funnier when you took it seriously.
I'm going to be here...if you need a dog sitter, and you're in the Seoul vicinity, let me know in 4 months. |
