Yes yes, I tried the search.

Can anyone recommend some names of decent, non-drowsy allergy medication? I'm not looking for a prescription, just something over the counter. It's actually for my roommate. I have some benadryl, and that's fine at night, but not for working during the day.

Thanks in advance..

You can get Allegra, Claritin, Zyrtec, etc. here. Just go to the doctor and ask for it. Demand a month's worth at least.

Thank you very much, but what I'm actually looking for is something over-the-counter. We're both students, so without health insurance going to the actual doctor can be pricey. I'm hoping there's something available at the pharmacy - any suggestions would be great.

I got this stuff called Seasonal which says it's an anti-allergics pill on the box. Worked well for me when I was having an allergic reaction to some bug bites I'd gotten this summer. I wanted benadryl but was unable to find any in the country, and this was recommended to me and it worked. As far as I can remember it wasn't drowsy, so it should be fine.

The pronunciation is kind of like "she-juh-nal" (sorry for the bad interpretation here but I don't have Korean on my keyboard). It wasn't expensive - shouldn't be more than about 3000 won at MOST.

Hope this helped.
Smile

Zirtek can also be bought over the counter and it is marketed as being non drowsy.

Give it a try, but it's not non-drowsy for me.
